Brekka East Fjords of Iceland
Photo essay by Marzena Skubatz
Brekka is located in the East Fjords of Iceland, a region known for its tranquillity and untouched nature. Only three families amounting to a total of eight people live in this remote village. There is no school and there are no young families with children, except Erna and Seivur and their 14-year-old daughter Johanna, who endures everyday life with stoicism.
